Mongo River Run is a family-owned business renting canoes and kayaks for 14-years! Partners, Tammy and Don are both Mongo-raised and have a lifetime of experience and memories on the Pigeon River. Each love and respect the river, people and town and have great knowledge of the river's unique history.

Mongo was founded in year 1832.
The history of word Mongoquinong comes from the Miami and Pottawatomi Indians who settled in Mongo. Tribes used the Pigeon river as their main source of travel.
Today, we honor the history of Pigeon river and tribes by being good stewards of Pigeon river.
