Beginner Trip
Silver launch site
This beginner level Silver trip remains shallow enough in most spots that parents feel comfortable knowing their child could stand up if they ended up in the water. Introducing children and new paddlers to canoeing and kayaking works best on water that is forgiving of mistakes.
You control the pace; drifting lazily down river when relaxation feels more important than distance covered.

Spero launch site
This intermediate level Spero Bridge trip is a great option for those who feel comfortable on the river and want to be in control of how long your trip is, whether your floating straight through or stopping at sandbars all day. You come back at your leisure.

Advanced Trip
Refuge launch site
This advanced level Refuge trip is ideal for those who want to be on the river all day. Although the float time is only 4 ½ hours, if you stop at any sand bars to socialize or stop to have lunch- this trip can take many most of the day to complete!

West Pigeon River Trips
Recommended for experienced persons.
These trips require pre-determined pickup time and you must "portage" (carry) your craft and belongings around dam obstacle, then rejoin trip. DNR patrols and rules apply.
